Counter top delima! I picked out gold calcutta marble for my island. My builder told me that he learned today that his supplier does not carry it anymore due to this particular marble having sheen issuse & that clients were not satisfied(carrera seems to be fine). I know that marble is high maitenance, but I have endured that, ( I do not like granite)
What about a travertien slab or limestone for counters? pros/cons, or go for marble?!! I need gold tones since my island is choc, brown and cabs are white shadow...
