My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Hexagon log cabin baby quilt finished!

I finished this last night and just love the fabrics. I bought two fat quarters when we were in England with the little clock pictures and wasn't sure how it would work out, but like the hexagon log cabins. (You really appreciate US prices on fabrics - fat quarters were $5 EACH!!!) I got the dark blue in the same shop, but most of the other 1930s prints came from my stash. I was planning to take it to Arizona when we went last week, but that didn't happen. Fortunately the baby isn't due until January, so will take it in December when we go. It finished out at 42 x 56, so baby should be able to use it for some time.
