White subway tile and white octagon & dot tile- Grout help!

Hi all! I will have white subway tile in my shower/tub area and white octagon/dot tile (sold in sheets) on my bathroom floor. Will Mapei Warm Gray for the subways and Mapei Silver for the floor go well with one another? I want darker for the floor. In another bathroom I have the medium gray grout on the floor and have loved it but I went with white grout on subways and it's been hard to keep clean, thus my consideration of the Warm Gray. Has anyone ever used two different grays in the same bathroom? Also, my GC said get all unsanded since it's 1/8 inch lines on the floor? Is that right?

The TCNA standards; for all grout joints 1/8" and over use sanded grout. For all grout joints 1/8" and under, use non sanded. You can see at 1/8" you have a choice. Where possible we always use sanded grout as it is stronger than non sanded.

Have you looked into Fusion Pro (Custom Blend), Plasma (Laticrete), or Flexcolor CQ (Mapei) as a grout? They are virtually stain proof and require no sealing. SUre they will get dirty, but the color will always be perfect.

Yes I did something similar. Our walls are Tec Dove Gray with white subway. Our floor is the original cement mosaic but it's been sealed and is very close to 'Charcoal' colored grout. Definitely glad that I don't have white grout in my shower! This pic best shows the different colors.
