Not entirely sure what you mean by "sconce" -- do you mean a flushmount fixture, or a semi-flush? As for whether it's enough light, that's mostly about the lightbulb -- these days you can often get an LED that puts out the same amount of light as a 60-100W bulb for so little wattage that almost any fixture can take it, but you'll want to look at the specs for whatever fixture you choose and see if there are bulbs to fit it. I like the look of a surface light (rather than a can) over the sink, and it can add some ambient light as well, but in the end the lumens that are available for your work are the key thing.

Don't worry so much about matching lighting fixture to anything other than other light fixtures. Any will go fine if you match the light fixtures to each other. I like the bronze myself. If you see a sconce or pendant you like, you should be able to open it and see matching chandeliers as well. :)

The picture you have of the wall sconce above the sink will go with many different types of chandeliers so I think it's a nice choice. I would definitely choose a chandelier and it's matching pendant and you will get a nice cohesive look. With that said if you choose a chandelier like the one that looks like lights in a "framework", just about any simple pendant or any I have in the list will go with it. And always remember you can choose LED bulbs to go in fixtures that use a "regular bulb" as well. If you get clear glass, make sure you buy clear LED bulbs though or you'll loose the look. Hi, I like the look of the Kitchler 2664oz but what would I use for a chandelier? I looked at all the bronze pendants that look similar but don't see any chandys. What do you recommend? Also, we have a 13 foot island with a hood . . what size pendants do you recommend to go on either side? The chandelier will be in the adjacent room, but all open floor plan, only about 20 feet away so I think the look will need to be similar? Thank you.

I'm so sorry, I've been out of the office and on a short vacation. I personally like the smaller pendants over the island as it provides the right amount of light without being over powering in the space. The good news with this particular pendant is that you don't have to "match" it. Nearly any chandelier (in bronze) will coordinate with it! I usually don't concern myself with size of fixture over the islands. I've seen many tiny pendants and many large pendants over the same size island. Rules of thumb on size seem to be of more importance in a dining area. No smaller than 1/2 the width of your table and no larger than 3/4 of the width. That's width, not length. I hope this helps.
