Would this chandelier look good?

I finally got a new bedroom set and need ideas for a beautiful chandelier. Let me know if you have any!

This is the one I like so far--- from Currey and Company.
Light, airy, movement, broad at base, chrome, crystal. Not too much glam but enough. Not too traditional. Touch of whimsy. I can't say I found what I wanted... But maybe I got close enough for you?
I like yours the best. Smile.

Great! Glad everyone likes my choice. The dimensions are 28h 35d 35w. It is a large room probably 15 x 18 or so. the ceiling is 10"9". Not too big?

What do you think about this Kingsmill table lamp? It is 22h. Too short? Too matchy matchy?

I like the base, but think the rectangular shade might add too much visual weight. Something taller with a round shade would be more in proportion to the existing elements. :))

Since your nightstands are higher than your mattress, you might be able to to use the 22 high table lamp.

I like your room but I think you should be careful with adding more dark furniture, they can clash with your dreamy gray walls and white trims.

    Ooh thanks for the photoshop!

Yes- no more dark furniture. Perhaps some light colored table lamps now to balance out the dark furniture?

I would add some type of art over the headboard.

    Yes- working on that, too.

Beautiful room! If you switch your night stands it will help break up the heaviness of the furniture. You'll see the mirrored one first coming in the room and the other will be blocked by the bed. Plus, the window takes away from the pretty mirrored front.

That is a great idea I will try it!

Chandelier shopping is difficult because one can never find a picture of the chandelier in a real setting! Finally, I came across the Novella in an image and decided it's just too plain Jane for my bedroom. Looks great in a living area, though. So I am going super fancy and decided on the Filmore chandelier from Crystorama. I've always wanted a crystal chandelier. It is 28w x 32h. My bedroom is 13x 22. Do you think this will work? Let me know! I've been driving myself crazy!

I like the other chandelier better. It's sleeker and mor interesting.

Both Currey &Co. And Crystorama are great. I do not think you would go write nag with either. 33"-36" diameter is perfect.

I'd break up all of that dark heavy wood with texture. I would put a faux animal fur throw/blanket along the foot of the bed. That would also make the bed more of a statement.

Ideally chandeliers 30 -35 inches in diameter would be the right scale for your room. That being said this will give you an idea of what a crystal chandelier will look like in your room.

Uh-oh looks like this one is too small. Back to the drawing board! I'll look for 30-35w X 30-33" height. Thanks for the photoshop!

Ok so after scouring the website, these are the 2 that would fit.
The Metro is 31.5w x 34h (is it too tall for 10'9" ceilings?)
The Traditional Crystal is 32w x 34h (too tall?)

Once again the one I really like, the Filmore, is 28w x 32h.

Do you think that since my bedroom is much longer than it is wide (22x13) the Filmore would work?

    Opinions appreciated!! Thanks all!

I really like yours...afraid the crystal would go too traditional / mumsy. That said, I went Venetian...I was pleased with selection, price and service from topdomus.com

The Venetian chandelier is beautiful dclostboy. That would be a lovely choice for this bedroom. It would help to soften the large pieces of bedroom furniture.

dclostboy- Your chandelier is very pretty. Could you send me the link- I'm having a hard time finding it on the topdomus website. Thanks!

Emily...let me see if I can find...that was 4 years ago. Their site is not the best organized..

It was just described as Murano glass chandelier.

This Pompeii from Currey would fit perfectly, I believe. 35w x 32h
What say ye? Too mumsy, too dark? Opinions appreciated!

I like the Currey and Company. Wide and not too tall with just the right amount of bling.

All these chandeliers are 36-42" diameter. All from Wayfair.

I like the way the second one from way fair echoes the bedposts

I do too but I think it is too large in diameter. I need something 30-35" wide.
    And then there's this:

    Meritage by Troy Lighting

    It's 30w x 34h.

    Any votes for this one?
    This one is spectacular! 33h x 27d

    Any comments on this one?

Yikes - thumbs down on the Domani. It is unique, but the candles aren't right somehow. It is heavy, masculine looking, no crystals and expensive. For these reasons, I'd have to chop it. Any FoodTV fans out there?

Appreciate your candor! How about this one?
    Constellation from Currey

The Constellation is elegant and refined. Lovely.

So it's back to the drawing board as most of the chandeliers I chose previously are too tall!

I'm wondering if anyone has an opinion on the Crystorama Hampton (32w x 26h) versus
    Corbett's Embrace (32w x 28h)?
Found this chandelier thought you might like it...similar to the others that didn't work..it measures around 25" in height so it should work fine.
I love it! Definitely looking into it. It's great with the shells as we live a block from the beach!
The height is actually 37" when I looked. The width is 28. Bummer!
Are you sure??? It comes in 2 sizes it sounds like you look at the large foyer size.
It is the 6 light chandelier. See measurements below

I'll throw another option in the mix because of the profile W vs H you are after :)
