Redoing a kitch. This is the second time I will be redoing one. I REALLY like all the marble choices out there. First kitch had granite so familiar with upkeep. I know all the cons about marble, but have yet to speak with anyone who has it and if they would still do it. I have a small unsealed sample that I am dropping wine, sauce, oil etc on to see what happens. Would really appreciate feedback from those who have it in their kitchens. I am not a slob but on a daily basis I could see my missing a few spaghetti spots or grease splatters. The reason I want marble is that my cabinets will be white with an accent island island in a seagreen. Kitchen will be very dark due to orientation of house so trying to have surfaces that can have lighting bounce off to brighten room. I do not like the engineered stone. Lightest granite has lots of grey in it. Help, please.
