Your kitchen is fabulous...very timeless choices so I would Pass on the glass tile that is very trendy right now..would you consider a classic cream penny tile for your space?

I never thought of that, but that is something I will think about. I find very multicolored busy tiles draw the eye and take away from the rest of the kitchen, but a solid colour penny tile could look fantastic. Thank you!

Black and white is very pretty but you need an accent color. Penny tile is beautiful but choose a color to give the kitchen a little attitude. The attitude is your choice (calm,funky, sophisticated ...) depends on your personality and the personality of the rest of the house.

I agree with emmarene. A lovely accent tile behind the cooktop: darker grey glass (subway laid traditionally or herringbone?), or stainless like many of the examples in your idea books. Then, you could choose a paint in the same tone, but a few shades lighter, for the remaining walls and behind your shelves.

I love it Sumjay! It's counter depth so we can see everything in it. So much better than the traditional fridge. Very pleased with the purchase. You'll live it! The design and layout of the drawers and shelves are fantastic as well!
