I'm staining and sealing my antique white heart pine countertops myself. I'm on the last one, and I forgot to condition the wood before putting the first coat of stain on! I've sanded it a bit, and so far it isn't blotchy, but once this coat dries, can I then put conditioner on before the next coat of stain?
