Val, I think they are a lot easier to look at when they are in alphabetical order and by group such as flower, veggie and herb. Mine is a mess but I can't figure out how to alphabetize the list on here.

To alphabetize, you type in word document then copy and paste to your trade list. Hope that helps.

Amy, you can also just highlight all your seeds and open another window. There are all kinds of free alphabetizers on the net. when it's done alphabetizing copy and paste to your wish list

It does not bother me if it is in alphabetical order or not. Mine certainly is not in alphabetical order.....mine is a mess too....LOL!

I agree with Amy that it's a lot easier to look at a list that is alphabetized and lumped into categories (flower, veggie, herb). That being said, I still look at non-alphabetized lists, as long as they aren't too long.

Doesn't bother me, I tend to look thru lists and hope I see something that I know. I like the common names with botanical names, since I'm new to gardening and I will be doing flowers for the first time I'm not familiar with botanical names....I tend to keep going and not look it up unless there was something else on a list that I know/want.

I prefer alphabetized as well but I will look at nonalphabetized until they get too tedius. When I have something I really want I just make a note of it on that item.

Reading these posts got me thinking. So, I just got finished alphabetizing my lists. Something I've been meaning to do for a long time.

I like a wish list alphabetized the way my seeds are. It's so much easier for me when sending seeds into a swap for someone. I pull the A envelope and compare to your list and so on. I will admit to just picking one or two items from lists that are not alphabetized. It's just too time consuming when the list is scrambled and my computer time is limited due to a cranky neck.
