Looks like alot of great potential. Id rethink coffee table to something with a wood/metallic combo that is more interesting and less heavy. Id add an amazing upholstered swivel chair where your black placeholder chair is

Nice space. I think that rug works reasonably well. Honestly, with that nice neutral base, almost any rug will work well! If it were me, I might try a Bokhara type rug. A bit more traditional, but could look great contrasting with the more modern elements in the room.

I like the colors you have. You need an armchair that is a bit more modern..you have a beautiful space

I kind of like the rug.

I like the rug, too; however, I would probably choose warmer colors. A wool southwest rug might like great in this environment.

Noticed the corner of the rug in the first pic; make sure your corners of your rug are not a stumble problem

Throw at least a little bit of navy in there as accent color and rotate the coffee table so it's woodgrain runs the same as the rugs design. A tray for the coffee table. I really like the rug.
