GOTM-February Miss Faye

February is quickly approaching! Miss Faye, you're up!

Here is my wish list for the month of Feb.
Native American I like all Native American. I have a special place in my yard for the Native garden. All seeds, plants or bulbs, like grasses herbs or flowers are welcome.

Fairy Garden -- Anything for a fairy garden. I just started this garden this past spring so it is very small. So I can use anything for it. (Seeds, plants, bulbs, décor really anything.)

Garden Items: gloves, labels, décor, solar lights etc…

My favorite season is fall because of the colors. I like brightly colored items. But I also like snow.
I also like the rare and unusual.

I live in zone 7 and I like and will appreciate anything that is sent.

    Hello everyone,

    I just wanted to let everyone
    know what was in the last 3 packages that I received.

    Tammy, mcc371, sent a
    fabulous box with 3 magazines. Capper’s Farmer, Small Gardens and Food &
    Wine.

    There was also a Step by Step
    guide to Winter Sowing with a bookmark.

    Also included in the box
    was a bing Garden Flag, 2 pair of gloves, Fertilizer Spikes, 2 notebook pads,
    plant support locks, 1 frog and 1 lady bug pot hangers, A ceramic snail garden pink.

    Tammy included a folding
    vase with hydrating beads. I have never
    seen anything like that before. Thank you very much Tammy. I can’t wait to try
    it out.

    She also included an
    assortment of 12 packs of seeds. Some of these where on my want list. But that is not all.

    Tammy sent plants also.
    She sent a red Amaryllis bulb, A yellow Christmas Cactus and a mother of
    thousands. Also 5 cuttings that was
    unnamed.

    loved it all.

    The second box I received
    was from EricaBraun and it was fabulous also.

    She included 3 books. Anne
    Cameron – Dzelarhons, Cherokee Strip in Transition and Great Indians of
    California Coloring Book. I love it.

    She included glitter
    stickers, heart socks and heart ribbon.

    Erica sent an assortment
    of seeds that is on my want list.

    She included an
    information sheet on Cherokee plants with Curly Dock, Yarrow and Rugosa Rose
    seeds.

    She also included another
    information sheet on cactus with an assortment of seeds. These are great.

    But there is more.

    She sent plants of Aloe
    Vera, Spearmint, Rosemary and Kalanchoe – orange.

    The third box I received
    on Saturday and it was from Lorabell_NC. Thank you so much Lorabell. It was a
    great box.

    There was Happy Hippie
    Organic and Lavender Buds Soap. Dynamite Plant food, Foozys socks and 4 ceramic
    figurines for my fairy garden.

    Lorabell also included
    these plants:

    Ric Rac Orchid Cactus, Agave Desmettiana,
    Cissus Quadrangularis, Rope Hoya,

    Rhipsalis Teres, Jade Gollum, silver edge
    aloe, eropegia woodii, peperomia rotary’

    Zebra cactus, Begonia Little Brother
    Montgomery, Aloe Black Beauty and Kalanchoe blossfeldiana.

    All of these boxes are very special and I
    appreciate every one of them.

      I love them all. My mom was the same way. When she passed I inherited all of hers. I like the unusual or the everyday ones. I am easy to please.

      Hello,

      I received my box yesterday from debbya-gw.

      It is great. It really lifted my spirits.

      Debra sent me:

      A book on ‘Edible Garden Cookbook.

      2 recipe cards for Slow Cooked Meatballs and

      Smokehouse Bacon and Cheddar Potato Skins.

      Debra also sent a Chocolate Double Crisp Valentine

      Puppy Dog. Yummy!!!

      She sent me an Old Lady Cactus to sit next to my Old Man
      Cactus.

      She also sent cuttings of Mother of Thousands.

      Debbya_gw pack this box full.

      There was a candle, a Trowel and a Cultivator with a pair
      of gardening gloves.

      Also a seed starter tray.

      She included a blue tub full of seeds.

      Snapdragon-Tetra Mixed, Hosta-Blue Angel, Amaranthus–Giant
      Red, Yucca-White,

      Datura-White, Corn (Popping)-Lady Fingers, Hyacinth Bean
      Vine, Cucurbita Hubbard Squash,

      Butternut Squash, and Sunflowers-Mammoth, Autumn Beauty
      and Teddy Bear.

      This is a great box. Thank you very much for your
      thoughtfulness.

      It is very much appreciated.

      Thank goodness! My husband rejoices every time I thin down my hobby/habit. I was out of commission a couple weeks with pneumonia and he cared for and watered the plants and actually counted how many I have overwintering in the house...over a thousand! Yes, we have a big old house, and yes I've propagated for a plant exchange/sale, but still! Ha

      Crystal sent me a great package. She included a Valentines Day Garden Flag, 2 large heart shape foam pieces, 2 green paint pens, round adhesive labels, a journal, a really big ink pen (I really like this), a red bottle with a stopper.

      Crystal also sent me things for my fairy garden. A Fairy Catcher Kit with a seed mix, rocks, a fence with a birdbath, bird and welcome sign on it, and a Mushroom with a fairy on a swing. I love it.

      There was also a collection of seeds. Bonanza Harmony Marigold, Sun Gold Sunflower, mixed 4 O'Clocks, Canna, and dwarf French Double mix Marigold seeds.

      Thank you so much Crystal. I loved everything you sent.

      I love checking in... And am so happy to see all the neat boxes being sent! I've had a horrid week... Tobasco died. He just turned 6, Jan. 27, I've spent several thousand getting mast cell tumors taken out from this little frenchie. I also had the best meds combined in his after surgery healing. Nothing worked... He died peacefully at home. :(. I had several vets involved, the best surgery vet, and 2 holistic vets. I really miss him so much! :( Gardener of the month is almost over. Is everyone interested in doing another round. I can host. I have a lot of extra time. :)

      He was beautiful, yet bipolar- Toby his 12 year old brother misses him terribly. He's forever going from room to room looking for him!
