Bring in more light with a new glass door. Add a pendant light over the sink. New cabinets, counters and appliances. Let us know how else we can help you.

You should get rid of that door (knock it out) and wrap counter/cabinets along that wall...like in an L shape. I would then knock out that wall that behind the fridge you would need to check if a beam is needed, that space will now be open and you can add an island.
