I have a water closet in my master bathroom. If the WC is large enough. I would install a very small sunk in the cornrr. this may seem redundant, but it is helpful for good hygiene. if there is not enough space for a sink. I would install a toilet with a built-in bidet like a Toto Neorest.

A bathroom should be private space and a sanctuary. The idea of a separate cubicle inside the room is absurd to me, and a waste of space. This is what powder rooms are for, or that second bathroom. There was someone earlier posting stats on this question with a fairy even divide pro or con. But you won't find one in my house.

I do not see the point in a cubicle inside a M bath there is still no privacy and really who wants to be doing their business while someone is using the rest of the space. In europe where they have an ac tual separate room it makes sense but not in the same space as everything else .

Water closets are a great idea if you have the space, as there are times when both would like to use the bathroom for different things and it provides the privacy for that. Of course, it all depends on the plumbing issue and your preference. Good luck!

Hopefully, it's not too late to get in on the conversation. In short, we agree with a few of the other responses that a water closet is a great option for master bathrooms. We often find clients sharing this space with a significant other and the separation offers a semblance of privacy in a space that is otherwise used by multiple people at the same time. Bottom line, if you have the space to do it, go for it!
