How is the door in the shower sealed to prevent water damage to the interior walls, etc.?

So unique and charming I am woozy with desire!! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. The rock on the floor, the vanity, the shower door...the built in shower shelf...The wooden shelf inserts remind me of NM. The wall cut outs add so much additional room in wasted space. Thank you for sharing. Truly inspired.
