Hello Houzz - I am relatively new here and just love it! Hoping you can help us with some questions on our master bath. We are doing a complete master suite remodel (expanding the walk-in, bathroom putting in HW floors etc..) We are at the point where we need to finalize the layout of the bathroom and would like some input. The measurements are 8'6"x11' so it's not that big. The existing window is getting replaced and could essentially go anywhere on that wall (open to suggestions). We have purchased a 6' jacuzzi tub that I am picturing under that window, and a clear glass shower surround beside it. The dilemma is where to put the sink/vanity and toilet. We have decided to go with 1 sink instead of two. In lieu of the second sink will be a makeup area. (I am a professional makeup artist so this is a necessity!) I would like some input on the best placement of this for grabbing the natural light and where the heck is the toilet going to go. I have attached some pictures of the current state of the room which is well... Gutted! So we have to use our imagination. The second photo is the view from the bedroom with the closet entrance on the left and bathroom on the right.
Not sure if this matters but we are going with a white marble tile for the floors and carrying up the shower wall. Help!
