What do you prefer?

Question for everyone. When your running circuits how do you prefer to split things?

I personally hate working in the dark so as I have been redoing the wiring in my house I have been splitting up the outlets and ceiling lights so I have two circuits for outlets and if I have more then one light I have two circuits for that as well so I can always keep a light and an outlet on when I am working. To keep the number of breakers from hitting astronomical proportions I have multiple rooms on one circuit. So outlet a and b in rooms a, b, and c are one breaker a and outlets c and d in rooms a, b, and c are on breaker b. It makes labeling the panel more fun and I am putting together a wiring diagram so the next people to own the home will be able to understand it easily. It is really nice to be able to work in a lit room without tripping over extension cords dragged across the house. I also went a little crazy and have 5 breakers for my garage. 3 outlet runs, 1 light run, and a 220 heater. I can run all my tools at once and not trip a breaker : )
