Love the marble slab seat

But I am concerned about strength. Will this support 200lb? Across what span? How thick is the marble slab? Are some marbles better than others for this purpose? How is the slab supported on each end? Many thanks

    Hi there, We used quartz on this application (stronger than marble) it is supported on 3 sides (2 of them you cannot see) so it is pretty strong. The slab is installed into the wall on the left and the back and an additional wall cleat it mounted on the back side. The right also has a support that goes to the floor. The width is approximately 45". Hope this helps :)
