So I have an 8 foot island and want to use 3 pendants ranging from 10 - 12" in diameter. Right now the electrician already set 3 fixture locations 28" apart. I really like a particular fixture that is 12" in diameter but am afraid that 3 x 12" pendants might be too big for my island. But also have the choice of 11" or 10" pendants that I could also choose if 12" was too big.
