I suggest removing the plants, adding artwork and sculpture that you like. And perhaps painting a deeper color on the back wall of the niche

Agree that the dead, dry plants must go! I thought of art, but I dont know how art above art would work. Can that be pulled off? I could paint a deeper color and also thought I could tile the back.

How much of the space should I be filling?

Any resources to purchase larger, resonably priced? I live in a small town with no local options.

That painting I posted is 4x5 and is from Pier I. Can be shipped. If that is not large enough, do a painted color block on the wall to add dimension to the painting.

The arched niche complements the arches over the windows and doors. Seems appropriate.

Thanks BeverlyFLADeziner for the time you put into the visuals. The picture I have is already 54x54. To properly utilize the wall space like you have shown would be close to 90" wide x about 70" H....

I do like the clean look of just the vases up top and the textured pillows. Are the vases available somewhere?

Beverly....nailed it!....... Less is more in this case....think big and paint out the back of the niche to enhance the items you place there. To get the proper size art I think you will need to do a canvas set.....check out large art on canvas on Etsy.com.....or Art.com
