suggestions for headboard, duvet and second night stand

hello, this is the spare room at my families house that my husband and I use when we stay there. We used some furniture that we were not using at our place. I have the mirror for the dresser, we haven't had a chance to hang it yet. any suggestions on a headboard, duvet, and what we can use as a night stand? nothing too femine. The wall color is BM Sea Glass. thanks.

Maybe center the bed and do a headboard that has floating shelf/drawer for night stand if it's too close to the window side. Nothing too modern as you want to stay aligned to the dresser.

Another option would be a bookcase headboard if you have room for it without pushing the foot of the bed too close to the dresser.

I'd look for the same wood or wood tones as the dresser.

I was thinking the night stand may not look so big if there was a headboard?

I don't think nightstand is too big. I might stick with white bedding. Add color with shams and pillow. White looks good no matter what color the walls and bed.

That could be true. I like the headboard posted by Susan but wouldn't want a floor lamp on the other side of the bed.

Target has some reasonably priced headboards. You can probably find a nice night stand at a thrift shop. It doesn't have to be identical, but do match the wood. A white duvet is nice. Get some curtains and pillows in patterns, and you've got yourself a nice hotel room!

This is the one I used, but it's a King. didn't know what size, but site has tons of them.
