So would you do glass, wood or farmhouse accessories?

I am not sure what your question is. Your kitchen is beautiful, but it does not currently seem rustic or farmhouse-like. There must be a very new meaning for this style. I have always known rustic and farmhouse styles.

You would expect to see different textures...nothing sleek. There would not be granite or SS appliances. There would be a mix of old and new furnishings and accessories. Furniture would be comfy...no armless chairs or sofas. There would be printed or checked fabrics...no woven shades unless they were on the back porch. There would be a variety of lamps....no overhead lighting in living rooms. There would be a mix of " art" on the walls.....pictures, found objects, baskets, etc.

I love your backsplash but can't tell what it is ? is it stainless? sorry I can't help with your dilemma. You have a great space ...

There is modern farmhouse , rustic industrial IMO they are all just words people put stuff together in all sorts of ways and I think we should stop trying to have a name for every one of them. Those pillars keep this space from really being either as for accessories I woul go teal and yellow and add that in pillows on the sofa there are some great small appliances in colors you might want to add one or 2 of those on the counter

glass and wood are farm house lol. go to a local store pick some things up and try them.

Thank you everyone...it is a blue glass backsplash and i will try to get a few accessories and try them out. I appreciate your help as i'm just torn which would look best in that space.

One thought is to clear off the island, then set a basket of lemons on it. A long, narrow basket would be nice. I think a pop of yellow would be nice with the blue backsplash.

I would go with yellow & try to find some over the top, sized to scale for where you're putting them, gaudy conversation pieces. Something that says "I may not traditionally belong here, but, I'm here I look fabulous none the less." Every room needs at least one of those..

Your kitchen to me feels serenely elegant, with absolutely beautiful finish choices. I'm not totally sure what you mean by rustic wood but if you add wood, I'd stay close to the wood tones you have in your living room or cabinets. Personally, I'd remove the objects in the left corner. I think you should not be afraid to let your gorgeous counters etc shine. Any of your suggested accessories could work but I'd say less is more. It's already gorgeous.
