I purchased two slabs of Taj Mahal quartzite (which is a granite with a lot of quartzite in it as it was explained to me) from a Verona Marble in Springdale, AR. Their supplier is based in Dallas.

Madre Perla and Taj Mahal look very similar. They are quartzite. It should be noted that staining can occur in Madre Perla but it requires far less care than marble. Ask your stone supplier or a reputable, experienced fabricator (Marble Institute of America member) for information on wear and upkeep.

Nacarado is also my quarry . It is located in the same mountain range as Madre Perola, Vitoria Falls, Arktico and Mohave, all of which are owned and operated by Everest Mineracao. Thanks for the comment!!!!
