Moving to a new duplex that has limited window privacy and unpleasant views (it neighbors a less-than-charming alley with a giant dumpster). Fortunately there is a concrete wall between the building and adjacent alleyway which creates a narrow pathway for tenants, but it doesn't go high enough to block out the view. Trying to decide if we should invest in some tall plants (bamboo?) to stick in the path or if there are other creative, cost-effective solutions (for renters!) that can create privacy and block the unsightly view.
