How do I combine throw pillows

I am stumped. I purchased the CB2 ouvrage pillow cover for a very large gold colored sectional. The sectional screams for a lot of pillows. Any ideas? I have no idea how to combine patterns. I do have the pillows in the picture of the sofa and can use any of them. The rust colored ones are looking pretty shabby.

yes Here's my sofa. The throw pillows look pretty good in this picture but they're kind of shabby. The sofa needs a pick me up and I thought the fun, bright pillow in the picture above would be great.

Buy two more of your pillows. One for each end and one for the wedge.

Now you can do a few more, placed here and there.

Hi Jill. I love your sofa! The CB2 pillow you selected is beautiful. However, the colours in your room appear a little more muted. Your walls appear to be sage, your sofa gold and your rug plum. You may want to consider something a little softer.

You can just use the colors in the throw pillow as a base for your color palette :) Dark blue, dark green, some solids and some subtly textured throws will work well.
