LG has a large w/d combo. It doesn't vent to the outside, but it takes much longer to dry a load of clothes. You have to decide if you are willing to accept that. BTW Houzz has a Laundry Forum that might be of assistance to you.

Thanks Beverly - I did post on the Laundry Forum and didn't get any suggestions. Someone suggested here. Since we are downsizing, a large unit would be too much and I certainly don't want the single unit which is way too tiny. Not sure if all those things should be altogether or we should divide the room. Thanks again.

Water tank and furnace IMO should be in a separate space . Why do you need the fridge in the space and the W&D should be in a nice space so you have folding space a sink if you want one not sure what kind of architect would not care about this or is it that you have a very small house you are building.
