Any time I grow cilantro the leaves seem to get thick and tough before the plant reaches a size that I could harvest a "bunch". The stuff at the grocery store is always so tender and light as well as larger than mine currently is.

I have grown indoors and outdoors, spring and summer. Always seems to be too tough for my liking.
