The primer under wall color and ready for base molding is a bright white. Oops on Glaze over Dove White.

Dove White on a wall above that creamy Dal tile that is out of stock and the trim pieces. If Dal tile is near you pick up some samples to check 4x4 whites against your color palette. Then, check against paint. Lower in this shower I have two samples to try to match tile to pop those beautiful green leaves. Not there yet!

White shelving from HomeDepot. An unknown white that came with house on casing. BM high gloss with a few drops of black has matched it. Door is BM Linen White. Linen white is not as creamy as Dove White. I like BM Simply White for Trim. I believe a cool white is not the choice for SW Amazing Grey. SW color program helps to narrow down choice.

Simply white is on posts, risers and railing. Under railing BM with a few drops of black, and base is unknown white. Walls SW Frosty White.

Your color choices are so very close to mine! Im still agonizing over cabinet and trim color. I too have the medium hickory wood floor in a handscraped. Sw Agreeable and anew gray for walls. Thinking about sw Shoji White for cabinets and trim. It has a bit of a gray undertone, not creamy white. I looked at sw whitetail as well. You might be interested in that one...an in between of white and creamy white. Aren't all these choices driving you crazy? They are me! (:

I also think using the cabinet white not glazed would be great, pulling it all together.

I agree!! I am so confused right now. My French doors were pre-painted white so I have that to think about as well. I did look at white tail. Maybe I will look at that as well. Do you have pics of your combinations?

I think a pure white would be more versatile vs a cream. If you ever sell the house or renovate the kitchen, a pure white gives you more options room to room.

How do you think the pure white would look next to the Dover white/glaze cabinets?

Looking at the pics, the agreeable gray on this doesn't quite look right, but its all I had. The trim piece is shoji white. The cabinets are being made onsite, so no pics of painted doors.Ill use the agreeable gray in most of the main house, anew gray in a few other rooms. I've decided on rusts and grays as accents...rugs etc. second pic are two rugs Ive picked out and next to that on rt. is sofa fabric with the two darker colors accent pillows. The 3rd pic is the sofa and cocktail table at the furniture store. The walls in great area are pine shiplap, which may be why color looks funky in the picture. Would love your input since it seems we are heading in similar directions.

I think SW Pure White is base only. Sneak a bit out of a can and try it on a sample board. Google SW Amazing Grey. There are young bloggers who have used SW Pure White (Cool) with Amazing Grey. I liked it. I have multiple whites in my home but not on Trim, Doors and Bases. Except the trial closet. Most of the time since the two doors are in shade I don't even notice the difference. The cool whites will have very little difference to most. The warm whites are difficult for me. My DH put a light in the closet, too! SW whites have undertones of yellow, brown, and .... Their bases are more true, but may be slight yellow. BM bases are with very little yellow, thus brighter, and can be knocked down with yellow or black colorants. I was wondering about Shoji white too. A bit of brown vs yellow. There are some beautiful walls painted this color. Google Trim.

I really love all of your selections. My hickory is actually darker than yours but it is a hand scrape as well. Love that look! I really like your trim and cabinet color. I absolutely LOVE your sofas that you have chosen!! I am doing blue accents and really like the whole set up in that pic. Do you happen to know the brand of the sofa?

You can really tell how soft the shoji white is without being creamy or too bright.

I do like the shoji white. I'm just not sure how it will look with the Dover white cabinets....?? I need to get a sample and try it. Here is the blue I'm using in my dining room along with the drape fabric. The fabric has a creamy color in it.

Thank you!!! Its nice to have some positive reinforcement! The sofa came from Havertys. I choose the fabrics so it hasn't come in yet. I'll see if I can find my ticket and if the name of the sofa is in there. The sofa in the store was beautiful, but the fabric was a bit more creamy than I wanted. They have it sitting on your blues! I bought this table (pic taken at store) with a couple extra chairs. Got the rugs from there as well. They have an onsite interior decorator that will assist with all your selections. She also helped me with paint selections too. Cant wait for this house to get finished!

Love the fabrics! Yes, you need more of a creamy white. Take your swatch to SW. You can match it by looking, or they will match for you.

Love it all. That fireplace is awesome. I used Eldorado Stone in clearwater rustic ledge. I think its a bit lighter than yours with a lot more gray I think. Yours looks fantastic with the floor and wall color.

The sofa is called Jillian from Haverty's. There are other pieces in that line. Even though I chose custom fabrics, it can be ordered in several stock colors. The oatmeal would probably work perfectly for you.

What did you end up using? This is crazy. I'm building a house and used amazing gray for walls. Dover white cabinets with brown glaze and I came on here trying to figure out trim color and saw your post! I was going to use Dover but thinking I need brighter. Thought about using white tail? I'm so confused! Lol
