You're willing to spend upwards of $5000 for bedroom lamps? I'm not sure which lamp you are looking at, none show an $1150 price point, but I'm not a fan of gold with your yellow walls

What lamp?

Houzz does have some really expensive lighting. Wouldn't surprise me. Each to their own, I guess, just hope there is a trickle down effect. The most I've ever paid for bs lamps was $400 each for crystal at a high end store. Recommend you shop around.

All of the lamps, new and vintage, that I purchased last year for my house were under $100.00 each. I stayed away from spending hundreds of dollars just for a lamp! I put more money into my sofas and chairs instead.

In a space like this with high ceilings and plenty of wall space you could integrate those statement lamps with expertly placed lighting, throughout the room to create specific ambiances for different times of the day etc. Automated shades could protect the wood floors from fading due to sunlight when the room is not in use without having to think about opening or closing them. We find people really like to have a "good morning" setting for windows to open and lights to turn on, or "vacation" settings to turn lights on and off periodically so it looks like someone is home for added security while you're away. The picture below shows an example of some recessed lighting and a chandelier that complement their lamps. The automated lighting can be set to different intensities that will add beauty and dimension to your room.

Granted you current lamps are now tall enough next to your bed, but your bedroom is too casual in design to support this table lamp. You'd have to turn your bedroom into a French or English floral bedroom to accommodate this lamp, so don't bother

because your bedroom is really great. Don't know where the yellow walls came from because they don't really complement any of your other selections. I would definitely repaint and do a white ceiling and add this basket style chandelier
