Kitchen cabinet help...

been doing some cabinet shopping, and we are in sticker shock. Originally wanted a inset door style, and the price points are almost double of other styles. So after looking around came across two different brands. I am having trouble getting my head around the euro style frameless cabinets. I just look at them as being cheap (for lack of better word) but the look of them would be closer to the inset look we wanted. Came across Eudora but they seem to have bad reviews ( but the reviews I found were a little dated). Then looked at Norcraft in a framed cabinet which the dealer was pricing at below the Eudora. I would think the frameless would be less expensive but they are not in this case? any experience/thoughts with ether cabinet?

I ordered my new kitchen cabs from them, better quality than big box stores, lots of styles, including inset! beautiful, soft close, lots of options and price was cheaper than big box!

I would not put Chinese anything into my house. I would suggest giving up inset if it impacts your budget too much. Frameless is usually a more expensive choice than traditional framed as well. I would suggest a framed full overlay cabinet. Look at Kraftmaid it Diamond from the box stores to get a ballpark pricing for your remodel.

Cabinets shoukd occupy around 40% of your remodel budget. Your overall budget should be 50-70K for an average full redo that had no DIY labor. Inset cabinets would be higher, and a higher end kitchen with built in appliances is 100K 150K.

Look at Shiloh - no upcharge for inset. No, they will not do them with exposed hinges but the more I have thought about it, the more I think that's a good idea. I am doing Shaker full inset on top, and Euro frameless on base cabinets as I want all the real estate I can get there, plus a sleek look. They are made in Missouri.
