Wow, that is a striking kitchen. What are the cabinets made of? Recycled wood or antiqued finish on new wood? It may make a difference in painting. Do you like the brown wood tone of the window trim and crown molding?

Someone clearly loved this kitchen when she had it installed. I'm guessing the quality is first rate.

I'd be desparate too! Start by painting the cabinets. Remove all the doors and hardware and take the doors to a paint shop to have them professionally sprayed. You should be able to paint the boxes your self after a little degreasing/sanding.

Then step back and determine where you want to go from there. Trying to tackle it all at once is overwhelming.

A coat of paint on the cabinets will make a huge difference. Olldbobbi has the right idea.
