Distance between pendant lights

I love those pendant lights but wasn't sure if I have enough distance to use them. Do you know how far apart they are? My island is only 72" long so I'm thinking they may be too big. Beautiful kitchen!

Hey there kmhbt, Yes, these are too big but take a look at the "Shades of Light" Catalog. They have some really cool stuff that is sure to enhance your kitchen. Home Decorators and Ballard Designs have some fun choices too! Best of Luck to you! Jo

I am obsessed with this kitchen!! I am confused about the island size with the Hindi lanterns. Imhotep said her island was only 72 inches long so it might be too small for the two lanterns & you agreed....but in an earlier post you had said this island was 72" with a 10 inch overhang. (Oh so did you mean 72+10=82 is the size of the granite slab?) The Hindi lanterns look huge in the store so I am also not sure if I should use two on our 7'10" x 4' island (including overhang) thanks so much for taking the time to answer.! I will be looking at your other portfolios to see your other rooms in order to see if we want to hire you. We are building a new house & are starting from scratch with furniture & lighting. Thanks again!

Thanks Jo! We're doing the same setup & were contemplating the rectangle chandelier to cover the larger table. Any reason you chose the circle?

    Do you work long distance?

Hi Stephanie, Yes, there's always a reason why we choose things...:) Not only do you choose something that will set the style of the room, you choose for the shape of the room too. There is another room behind this picture and I didn't want the view blocked. Also, there are a million lights and new ones come on board everyday...you choose what is available at the time. You also have to control that amount of time looking...since there is no magic store that designers choose all of the perfect items for the home. At $110.00 per hour we control the amount of "sourcing time" for the sake of our clients' budgets. See, there is a lot to our decisions. :) Yes, we work nationwide...please see my website for philosophy, ability and contact info! Thank you and sincerely, Jo www.mygreatspaces.com
