We moved to a new state and just bought an old home. It needs all new paint- inside and out. I am trying to pick the exterior paint color. I came in wanting BM White Dove. The painting company's interior designer is pushing for BM Simply White as she thinks White Dove will look more gray (read: dingy) during winter. They both looked the same to me when I tested them out, but my husband could tell a difference and voted White Dove. I'm at a loss and at my wits end in decision making with two toddlers and a third baby on way and picking all the other interior colors- kinda overwhelmed at the moment. We want to do super dark navy shutters- like BM Soot. Anyway, there aren't as many examples of exterior Simply White. The guy at the BM store said that's because it is a relatively new color.

Also, in picking white color, would you then do pure white trim to contrast with the white house color?

Any input and help would be greatly appreciated!
