Please help ID this climbing rose. Is this a Quadra?

I finally got some guts today to go up to a house in my neighborhood and ask what rose is growing in front of their house. The lady said she didn't know the name of it as it was planted by the previous owners. I asked if she winter protects is and she said only the root ball. She also has another same one that is climbing on the east facing side of the house so it can't be getting THAT much sun. I was there at 1PM and it was completely shaded. I looked like it was veeery happy there as well. The color in the picture is true to the real color and I really love the fact that it's like a red but not a true red color. What do you think?

Does it repeat? Might be 'Dr. Huey' if it doesn't.

Same here! I'm really hoping someone will ID it and confirm or deny. I ordered Quadra yesterday and I'm really hoping that's it :))) in some photos online she looks red and in the others a little fuchcia red. It would be nice to see it in person

Not Quadra. Quadra is more double and fuller cupped bloom. I thought it was more crimson red. Quadra also has gorgeous darker green foliage with a red tint to new growth.

Definitely not Quadra, have no idea of what it is. Lots of red climbers out there. Is it fragrant at all? And like someone asked you earlier but you didn't answer, does it repeat?

It has no scent at all. As far as repeating, I have no clue. Husband and I discovered it while talking a walk through the neighborhood. I've never noticed it before as we never take that rout for our walks. That was about 3 weeks ago when we saw it and when I took the picture the blooms were sort of spent. I will have to keep an eye out on it and see if it reblooms. I checked out some photos of Dr Huey and it looks like it really may be it although some photos show it a little bit more deep red then my neighbor's. I guess I will have to wait and see if it reblooms

Flower form does not match Dr. Huey, neither does the color, though that's subject to the camera, lighting, etc. I guess just watch it and see if it reblooms at all.

On first sight I thought Dr. Huey too. Keep an eye on it. If it is it will shortly have a terrible case of black spot and mostly defoliate, lol.
