I recently purchased some textiles from India and am thinking of framing it up on a wall where a tv used to be. Refer to first picture. The textile has some Paisley prints on it which takes elements of the Indian wood stamps that I plan to hang on the wall.

Are you of the view that the colours are competing against the whole room? Too much going on?

The decor I would say is modern rustic Asian. The remaining photos are of the room so that you get an idea of the surroundings.
