The one that works best is whichever one the client loves. If I were the client, I'd ask you to try again, though I might choose #4 if the price were right. I'd never choose #3; I find the tones muddy and a little depressing.

Yes, it's for a client. I have a website to help visualize art in your space but they wanted more opinions. There's other choices on the site.

I think no 3 looks the best since it has the green that matches the dining chairs. But 4 is nice too..

Somehow (sorry to say this) I would prefer something more dimensional. The room is kind of one note, so I would check out something mosaic with dimension and color. Perhaps you have some pieces that are multi-media?

Perhaps something like this. This one is too large, but something like this would bring dimension and interest. Conversation too. Maybe you have some multi-media ideas for your client. That would bring some dimension to this wall.

#4 Because I love florals! Also, the colors in the painting work well with the dining room!

1 is too small, 2 or 3 depending on taste as both have enough same hue red to pick up napkins on place settings. 4's red is too muted.

3 is the best with the colors you have but 1 adds depth with neutrals.

It's hard to say without seeing the entire space, but none of them look big enough to me. Art is such a personal thing. I don't know how someone can let a designer choose their artwork.

3 is the one for sure

Sandybean, there is a difference between 'ART' and wall decor. Some prints & canvases are simply wall decor selected to coordinate with the room's furnishings. Those items are often selected by size, color & texture.

It's really hard to judge it without seeing the rest of the room and knowing the size of the wall. If you just have that painting stuck at the end of the table and the rest of the wall is large it's going to look weird.

Also the question is which painting do you love? If the answer is none of them then forget about it.

This is not a space that is good for florals, so 4 is straight out.
