It is amazing how often people are in a color conundrum. Color can make or break a space and I always recommend a color consultant if decision making becomes difficult. A color specialist has experience with paint manufacturers, colors, finishes and formulations. He/She can cut down on the back and forth of uncertainty, and help you to do it right the first time through!

I think you need to use a bit darker color to get rid of the green light. A very light grey would probably look green too.

I would choose a grey color at least like this:

Also a red carpet would help reflect and neutralize the green light. I know you are looking for a minimalistic Scandinavian look so that might not be an option for you.

My opinion is not to use typical choices of gray in a room which gets west light. West exposure can make or break a room.

You can use a gray lavender and use pewter and charcoal gray as accents.

You can go a bit darker with undertones of blue.

You can use a white which reads as a cool blue.

You can use this blue, as well, which will really cool down the room.

It's all about balancing that often mean west sun which can change beautiful colors into mustard.

Something with a pink undertone will help cancel out the green. Quite frankly, I think the room is lovely as it is.

Hey, Trib....the walls are white! Look at what the west exposure has done to it.

What the camera has picked up here is revealing - green reflections on white paint. What I would recommend is a grey with red undertones. I hesitate to actually recommend a paint color in your case, as what I recommend is your experimenting with six color samples, take another photo of them at the same time of day in the space and see what your camera tells you then. Test test test, or hire a color expert!

From left to right: BM Classic Gray, BM Stonington Gray, SW Requisite Grey, SW Twilight Grey. Frankly, I don't like any of them :( I would like something in the line of Classic Gray with a bit more cooler tone. Somehow in this light it shows warm, almost like cream.

This is where customizing colors comes in. See if your paint store would add a little more blue tint to the far right sample, to your liking. This is a hair brained way to go about a precise art - color mixing!

Well, paint the room gray.

It's only paint and you redo if you find you don't like it.

Update! I decided to stay with white in the end and I chose Whisper White by Behr. In addition I changed the furniture -instead a low platform bed I went with a canopy one, plus new nighstands. I also added a white ceiling track and warm creamy drapes. Now the question is, do I hem the bottoms or let the curtains fall onto the floor?

Everything looks absolutely amazing! I´d keep them the way they are.

Where can I buy those drapes?

In a white space with clean lines I think hemming the drapes will be a more sophisticated look. Your space looks great!
