Basement brain fog.....

Hi all!! We are renovating our basement soon and have been staring at it too long! Can't seem to come up with the right ideas for the best use of space.
Whats the opion on making a master suite in a basement....our bedroom right now on the main floor is tight.
We have the space downstairs to create a master suite but have a bulkhead running straight thru the center of the entire length of the room.
The overall space is 24' x 38'
