I hope your friends arrived safely! When we went to VA last month Bank of America put a hold on our credit card when we tried to pick up our rental car. (Apparently you're supposed to notify them if you are going to travel!) We ended up arriving in Richmond about 2 hours later than we'd planned due to straightening that out and DC traffic still being awful at 9 pm!

hey Donna, I've got BOA as well and they called me on a purchased 5 miles over the state line in PA. While annoying, at least the security alert works. We've notified them we were going to Euripe and never had a moments trouble.
