HELP. How upload photos in Houzz from hell?

I'm seriously irritated. So many times a picture is worth 1,000 words. I want to post what is blooming. I want to post something that might be a weed or might be a rare green molecular growth. I want to post a plant trade in the mail as it grows strong and happy.

First Houzz would only let me upload if I first saved the photo in an Ideabook. Then it posted my photos sideways. Now it won't upload ANY photos even though I've tried jpeg and pdf. It doesn't matter if I try to import from Windows 10 or an attached hard drive. The "Photo" option at the bottom has proven fruitless also.

Anybody have any answers or suggestions?

I have had trouble uploading photos for a little while now.

The secret seems to be to add photos with the EDIT functionality AFTER you have already posted.

Heidi, I just use the photo button and select the photo from my device. I just tried it and it works. Could it be that the file is too big?

Okay, I'll keep trying. Do you have trouble with Houzz flipping the photos sideways? Heidi

Have you tried different browsers ? Chrome, safari, explorer.....

Go into your camera and reduce the picture quality to the one for posting on websites and then it will be fine.

If you use mac you can use their program to reduce file size for web posting

I have not been able to post one new project, add a photo to anything, or change my header since I have made my account. Extremely frustrating. Have tried using Google Chrome and Safari browsers... any tips?

Sometimes I have problems posting pictures also. The app is slow uploading. Pictures that appear to be sideways somehow fix themselves after I have finished editing. I have double pictures in idea books that I have to delete. Crazy but like they say patience is a virtue.
