Need help with paint color choice

I am stuck on paint color for the interior of my open concept home. One room flows into another and rounded corners make transitioning paint colors difficult. I've been testing paint colors in the family room because it seems like the most challenging room. The lighting is not good and the cherry wood and dark granite of the fireplace make the room feel dark and gloomy. The paint color appears to be some sort of clay/orange toned color. The cherry wood and dark granite along with the same paint color carry over into the kitchen. One of the photos shows the kitchen, which then transitions into the hallway/entryway. These areas are painted a beautiful, cheery yellow that I love, but I'm having a hard time envisioning this color as the main color of the interior. So, I am looking for a neutral, beige tone that will be multi functional and carry well through the main interior. I have tried many different colors thus far and I'm shocked at how different they look actually painted on walls in different lighting. Some top contenders are SW Kilim Beige and SW Linwood Sands. I don't think that I want anything that would be complementary to the cherry wood, since I am not a fan of it. Any other suggestions on colors to try?
