Is it taboo to mix appliance brands?

For example, if you have a Samsung refrigerator, a Viking Range and a Bosch dishwasher, is that semi taboo when it comes to a buyer's perspective of your home? Does it just seem too scattered? I personally don't mind, but I'm just wondering if there's a general thought on this topic or if keeping the same brand will make the kitchen more marketable and appealing.

It is fine to mix brands as long as they complement each other and are of the same finish. My 2 cents;)

I am in the process of mixing myself as I do not know if I can get behind another GE Profile refrigerator after the poor performance of my current one,
