I actually thought that might be the case because I got this from a mall and when I took it home I placed it outside the following day :( will this damage go away?

There is no 'healing' the damage persay, but the damaged leaves will be eventually replaced. Take care to give it much more shade and slowly transition into the light you have. =)

Yes, it looks to be sun damage. Mine suffers a bit unless it is slowly acclimated to strong sunlight.

This is an excellent Jade called 'Maruba Nishiki.' I have read that it might be a cross between 'Hummel's Sunset' and an oblique leafed Jade.

Wow! I didn't know that! But I did notice it's a bit different with tricolors I've seen in the US. Thank you for the info! And yes, I will give it a little more shade. I learned from this mistake

A beautiful and rare find, at least here in the States! You will notice this one change colors depending on the time of year and the conditions it is grown in.
