I love it! (I can't help you style it, but I love it.)

It looks great the way it is! I like the white, which looks great against the shade of green the hutch is painted.

I like the lower shelves up through the chicken. The upper shelves are too uniform -- you need to vary the size and/or color of what's up there. You could get a rack and have several plates sideways on one shelf, and then put a vase or something in another. Or a colorful pot, or a jar of pasta... Don't be afraid to treat shelves as shelves, rather than cubbies -- that is, you could have a row of cups or bowls that extend all the way across, including behind the divider.

You have sort of a playful country feel going, so too much formality in the plate zone will feel a bit forced. More books would be fine too.

The fact that you are sticking to white and red is working great for you against the green. The three plates and the frame are repetitive at the top, you could try stacking white plates in just one part of the shelf to offer some asymmetry, maybe on the right to offset the books you have in the lower left.

My thoughts are that you are trying your level best to fill up the shelves. Looks unnatural.
1) There's just not enough stuff in the hutch so you're filling it up by separating out the pieces. Group the pieces up in odd numbers.
2) Some of the items are placed in areas that are not of convenience. For example, the jar also should be at waist level if you use the item frequently that is where the chicken is. At the moment it is placed lower which makes this whole hutch look staged for decor

the art is nice, but honestly, in the context of all the white pottery, it almost looks like an empty white frame or a square piece of china with a little decoration on it. I think you need something with more presence against the green. otherwise, like all your variants...
