Type of entry piece for this room

I've been asking the other questions about my living room but I also need help with the kitchen/dining room. I got my dining table and chairs, my storage chest and made a rustic chalkboard. Now I'm confused about an entry. I'm getting rid of the dark brown and think more wood might be too much. Also can you give me input on which artwork? The big flower or the glass turquoise dandelions?
