Even with the recommended annual water seal treatment this tree will only last outdoors for two years??

    Hello. No, that is not exactly correct. We spray the tree with an outdoor treatment that allows it to remain outside for several years. After several years, we recommend applying Thompson's Water Seal once per year to ensure longevity of the tree. The trunk of the tree and the coconuts do not need to be sprayed with the water seal. It is only the frons (the green foliage) that needs the water seal. We hope this answers your question to your satisfaction. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
