stuffing dog/kitty beds? could you spiral cut them to add to the 'yarn' for dog beds (like continuous binding)?

I'm cutting the "yarn" about an inch wide, so the sleeves don't contribute much. I did sacrifice a couple to try making hedgehog beds, but didn't work out very well. I may modify the plans for those.

I make cleaning clothes with T shirt sleeves. Some are just fancy "rags" for dusting, etc. If needed, I will piece scraps together. Some are all t-shirt material, but most have t shirt on one side and flannel, terry, or fleece on the other. Some have leftover batting inside. I also make my own version of Swiffer sheets (that are washable/reusable). I use fleece for the pad, but use the T shirt sleeves on the ends to stretch around the Swiffer (so it stays in place). This enables me to use up scraps and practice sewing while feeding my neat nick tendencies. I also make facial cleaning pads (see pix).

What a great idea. I have a swiffer and that would save me tons of money.

Other ideas have been bean bags, and rice bags. Don't know why I didn't think about those.
