Thanks for reposting. This is much clearer. Based on the information you have provided, here are my suggestions.

1. Wall mounted fan because of the low ceiling heights - Savoy Oscillating Fan
2. Option 2 - Matthews Wall Mounted Fan -Kaye
3. Two wall mounted lamp fixtures where the bed is located. (These options don't need a wall switch they are either touch controlled or have their own switch)
4. Wall light - Option 1 - Axo Voluptas
5. Wall Light - Option 2 - George Kovacs Swing Lamp. I have two of these in a guest bedroom and they are great.
6. For the desk area, I would use a desk lamp that is dimmable.
7. Desk Lamp - Option 1 ZBar LED Task light. I have an older version that is not dimmable and I love it.
8. Desk Lamp - Option 2 - Koncept LED Desk lamp. I saw this at ICFF and it is great lamp

I think with the recessed lights and these layered effects of lighting, the room should be adequately lit.

I like the suggestions given in homepro's post above. I think the wall fan idea is the way to go given the low ceiling. My favourite of the bedside wall light options above is option 2 (George Kovacs). The desk lamp option 2 would play nicely with the George Kovacs bedside sconces.

I would not put in any more can lights over the bed as discussed in your previous post (can lights are not flattering). You could add a ceiling fixture in the room (or possibly two very small ones), now that you fan is on the wall somewhere. I have linked one option below that provides some ambient light, and not just down light (as right now all light sources are down lights).

Are the currently installed 5 inch can lights going to have trim kits that make them adjustable? If it is not too late, I would strongly recommend doing that so the can lights will be able be directed off the walls and bounce back into the room as indirect light, rather than have them light the floors below.

Here is one close to the ceiling fixture that could go either over the bed, centred in the room or if very small ones are found (ambient ones), possibly two ceiling fixtures could go in the room (one over bed and one in the centre of the 5 inch cans). I would put this ceiling fixture (or the two small ceiling fixtures on a separate switch).

Example below is linked of a ceiling fixture that offers ambient light (there are very few suitable ceiling fixtures that offer ambient light and take up minimal height). The one below comes in several finishes. Lighting direct rates their lights as to what direction the light is (which is useful to avoid more down lighting).
