Get a decorative shower curtain that you love, a nice rug for the floor, and art for the wall behind the toilet. You won't notice the other things as much, and at least they are fairly neutral. You can go with almost any color you like.

I'll second the first comment.
You might replace the mirror, too, with an antique or a snazzy new one with some personality. Or you could just put trim around the existing one to make it look more tailored...there are a lot of tutorials online for this and even some off-the-shelf products to get you the look.

Why not paint the cabinets? I would consider a light to medium shade of gray. Also agree that the large mirror could be either framed or replaced with a purchased framed mirror. Maybe 2 floating shelves (reclaimed wood) over the toilet.

I would frame that mirror in a wood to match the vanity, perhaps make a valence with some recessed LED lights above it. Then swap out the old vanity hardware to something sleek and lineal. Finally, change the tap to a finish that would match the hardware, perhaps a brushed nickel? Have fun!

New hardware for sure on the cabinets and I agree you should paint the cabinets. I would paint them cream and use oil rubbed bronze hardware including towel racks and light fixtures and get a mirror that is framed in a dark wood.

Move the towel bar reflected in the mirror. Good place for nice BIG art. Cover the ill placed plug with clunky easy to move piece. Paint the cabinet the darkest color in the granite----same color for floating shelves above toilet.

I think this is a great-looking start for a bathroom! I agree about the cabinet hardware, and you want a contemporary light over the mirror, but it's quite neutral and classy looking. Get some art over the toilet and use it to pull ideas for the rest -- e.g.,

(1) get a black and white photo, and then get a variegated gray rug to pull in the counter tones, and go for an overall urban chic look;

(2) get some bright painting and pull, say, greens for rug, towels, and accents, for a cheerier look, taking it more country or more contemporary as fits your style.

It has been stuck on with a hot glue gun. You have to work pretty fast, saves taking mirror off which might be impossible

I would recommend mirror molding to match the vanity wood tone from mirror mate. Add fun new hardware like maybe clear glass balls for some sparkle, paint the walls a color that works in your home and add coordinating towels and rug. I would recommend a small persian rug in the right colors in lieu of the standard bath mat for a sophisticated touch. Have fun!

Don't paint. You have nice neutrals to work with, and you can choose textiles in any warm range, and have a lovely room.

You can leave the color and add towels and full height curtain with color.

Or you can paint the walls and then do white or grey accents to the room
