Yes, it can get confusing when allowing for the framework of the cabinet and the undermount lip of the sink while still leaving room for the sink! Have you considered aligning a single hole faucet at the top right or left corner of the sink? You could then balance it with a unique soap dispenser - check out Noveletti. In the alternative, would you consider a wall mount faucet - very trendy.

Thanks, Deb. We are trying to keep it pretty traditional, so I think a centered countertop faucet is what we would like to go with. But those are great ideas. Much appreciated.
