I think you should hit it with a good fertilizer and some soaking watering's. Snap it out of the funk. Although,part of the funk is that its rooting down below. I've seen newly moved Mangoes do that from indoor to out doors or outdoors potted up...anything that allows more root room.

Since yours has been in ground over a year,I think a good dose of fertilizers..organic or something I like to use- Vigoro's tropical plant food for palms and Ixora. It has lots of those micro acid nutrients that do green up a mango well. In the past I used EB Stone organic fertilizers. It just got too expensive for me as my collection grew.

Hey stanofh, I've fed the tree fertilizer on schedule. I feed it granular 3 times per year and just did last week. Is it normal for dark coloring almost black blotches at the terminal budding or maybe is it a fungus?

Stanofh, I actually sprayed the tree with neem oil this evening just for precaution. Good thing it looks normal, but the lower leaves on the main trunk, should I take them off or leave it?

New update I'm just a very inpatient gardener lol look at these new growths!! It's the first tree I planted in my house and I was just worried that maybe I wasn't doing something right since most of my other plants including my lychee have been taking off! I love that little tree!
